I created my first money jar and used it for a month. Here’s what I found out.

According to Matt Slick, the New Age Movement(NAM) has many sub-divisions, but it is generally a collection of Eastern-influenced metaphysical thought systems, a conglomeration of theologies, hopes, and expectations held together with an eclectic teaching of salvation, of “correct thinking,” and “correct knowledge.” It is a theology of “feel-good,” “universal tolerance,” and “moral relativism.”

I was introduced to the movement by my Hungarian friend, Mark. The movement is quite diverse and has no clear definition. Some of the theories I learned were the law of attraction, the manifestation theories, and understanding the spiritual significance of zodiac signs.

According to the NAM practices, when there is a full moon in Aries, it’s a sign of good luck and a perfect time for money rituals. There are many types of money rituals, but I chose to talk about the Money Jar ritual.

The process to build one wasn’t so hard and below are the basic ingredients used;

  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar
  • Honey
  • Water
  • Fenugreek seeds
  • Thyme
  • Basil
  • Bay Leaves
  • Rosemary
  • Star Anis
  • Dragons Blood
  • Citrine crystal
  • Pyrite crystal

Aside from the above, you’ll also need a glass jar of any size but the smaller the better, a dollar bill of your choosing, Coins(one of each denomination), and a thread.

What happens is that the glass jar is first cleansed and the ingredients are added in a particular order with each being programmed with spoken affirmations.

As for the dollar bill, one writes their full name across it, their DOB, and if you like your bank A/C No. You then proceed to write your affirmations on the bill like, “I’m Rich, I’m financially free, Money is not a problem, my business is a success…” and on it goes. When you are done, you add something that possesses your DNA, like a piece of your hair, fold it up and seal it with a thread.

If you’d like to try it out, I’ll include a link to a YouTube video with a better explanation and goes into greater detail by Shonnetta.

I Created my Money Jar. — Here is what I found out after a month.

“Witches do not need to fix problems. Witches fix the energy AROUND problems. Then the problems fix themselves.” ― Dacha Avelin

To use the jar, you shake it every time you are running your business errands, writing new articles for your blog, adding stuff to your eCommerce store, uploading or shooting your new video for YouTube,… simply any money-making venture and as you shake it, repeat the affirmations you programmed into the jar.

I did this for a month and, to be honest not much has changed because I’ve always made money from my business and my medium blog is picking up quite fairly. But one thing that did change was that I’m never anxious about my financials, I feel more confident whenever I’m trying out a new venture and I just feel good about myself.

I like to describe it as an object of faith. It’s that tangible form of self-motivation. Every time you shake it you believe in yourself, you become more confident and there is that spark of positive energy. Your self-belief is amplified and when you truly believe in yourself and what you sell, it’s almost impossible for your customers not to.
